Samsung Heavy Industries engage in shipbuilding and offshore EPC projects. The company delivered 1,249 ships and offshore facilities by the end of December 2019. In January 2020, Samsung H. I has 20 ships with 377,340 TEUs in the order book. Also, these ships average vessel size is 18,867 TEUs. Other than to the container ships, Samsung Heavy Industries has leading market shares in construction of drillship, LNG carriers and FPSO vessels. Being a South Korea based company Samsung Heavy Industries constructed the world ever-largest ethane carrier in 2014. And the 1st 23, 000 TEU container ship in 2017.

DSME highly known as Daewoo established in 1973 at Okpo Bay, Geoje Island Korea. Imabari is Japan’s largest shipbuilder established in 1901. Saijo Shipyard, Hiroshima Shipyard, Iwagi Zosen Co., Ltd., Shimanami Shipyard Co., Ltd., Shin Kasado Dockyard Co., Ltd., I-S Shipyard Co., Ltd., Tadotsu Shipyard Co., Ltd., Minaminippon Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and Saijo Shipyard HigashiHiuchi Factory also come under the Imabari Group. The Imabari will deliver 301,050 TEUs in 45 ships as per the current order list. And the average vessel size remains as 6,690 TEUs. In 2019, the group has delivered 15 ships and delivered the highest number of ships during the year compared to the other shipbuilders.

Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd is a Shanghai, China-based shipyard company. As per the current order book, Jiangnan Chanxing produces average 12,332 258,976 TEUs ships. And total vessel in the order book is 25 with the total capacity of 258,976 TEUs.
